Memorable riding: Bike course at Johnstown triathlon—cheat the wind on the way
out, catch the tailwind on the way back—ends with some high speed descending through
urban Johnstown.

Some personal history: Came from Rural Valley, PA, to Penn State - with a major in Exercise and Sports Science - and stayed in State College. Worked for The Athletic Clubs in State College for 12 years. Founded B&E Cycles, State College, in 2003. Owner of The Bicycle Shop since December 2005.

Accomplishments: 2007 USAT Xterra Triathlon All American; Six time USA Triathlon All American; 30-34 age group national duathlon champion in 2000; bronze medal 30-34 age group at 2001 Duathlon World Championships in Rimini, Italy - sixth overall amateur; USAT's Duathlete of the Year for 2001; four-time top-ten finisher at duathlon national championships.
